Because we are established in the Netherlands, we process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), regardless of where you live. If you live in the United States, you also have the rights set out in Section 7.
1.3 Data security
To protect your personal data during transmission we use current encryption methods (SSL/TLS) over HTTPS. You can verify this by the lock icon in your browser's address bar.
2. Data collection when visiting our website
If you use our website for purely informational purposes, we only collect the data your browser transmits to our server (server log files), including:

Referrer URL, meaning the page you visited previously

When you contact us through our contact form or by email, we collect the personal data you provide. This data is stored and used exclusively to respond to your request and for the associated administration. We keep contact messages for 12 months after your query is resolved.
5. Data processing for order execution
To process your order we work with service providers who support us in performing the contract. We share the necessary data with:
Shopify, which hosts our store and processes orders
Shipping and logistics partners, to deliver your goods
Payment processors, including PayPal and Shop Pay, to take payment
Our email provider, to send order confirmations and shipping updates
Meta Platforms, through the Meta pixel, for advertising and measurement
All payment transactions are processed in US dollars and are encrypted. We do not receive or store your full card number.
6. Marketing and newsletters
If you subscribe to our newsletter we will send you information about our offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us directly. We keep your subscription data until you unsubscribe.
7. California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a resident of California, you have the following rights:
Right to know. You can request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected.
Right to delete. You can request that we delete personal information we have collected from you.
Right to correct. You can ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.
Right to opt out of sharing. We do not sell your personal information for money. However, we use the Meta pixel, which shares personal information with Meta for cross-context behavioral advertising. Under California law you have the right to opt out of this sharing. You can do so using the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in our website footer.
Right to non-discrimination. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

8. Online marketing and analytics
We use the Meta pixel to analyze website traffic and to display relevant advertisements. This tool helps us understand how customers use our store and how our advertising performs. It places cookies on your device and shares data with Meta Platforms.
You can object to this at any time through our cookie banner or the opt-out link described in Section 7.
9. International transfers
Some of our service providers are based outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or on an adequacy decision such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Order and invoice records: 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law
Customer contact details: as long as your account is active
Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe
Contact form messages: 12 months after resolution
11. Your rights
Regardless of where you live, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data.
Under the GDPR you additionally have the right to restrict or object to processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that took place beforehand.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
12. Children
Our website is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make a material change we will notify you by email or through a notice on our website.
